10,ooo miles on bike. took injectors in and cleaned, replaced fuel pump. bike runs great. the trouble codes have not been cleared yet, but the check engine light keeps coming on intermittently. Not that familiar with fuel injected bike computer systems.

| Why I do/don't ride a Buell: |
I have 100,000+ on old 1987 fxlrc, and Buell is my play toy for these old bones. Not a long rider for me, but perfect for around the city.

| How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: |
Somehow, keep the wiring to a minimum. too many tight places for wires to rub through.

born on a farm, worked for GM, Mechanic school for motorcycles. 13 yrs. a Honda/triumph mechanic, owned own shop for 13 more yrs. got too old to want to keep up with all the digital components on all the models of bikes. now just enjoy what I have. Great wife, kids, grand kids inlaws, and retirement is ambrosia.
