Performance Mods!: |
None yet.
|
Problems/Miles (Please be specific): |
No Problems. 11,000 miles in 12 months. Funnest toy I've ever had. Sidestand recall has been my only issue with the bike.
|
Other Mods/Misc/Customization.: |
Side and top case luggage. Polly Heaters heated grips. Laminar Lip. Corbin lowered seat
|
Favorite Rides (Roads and Routes): |
Any place with curves where I can lean the bike. Scenery is a plus as well. Place with no cops! Now that I'm offroad capable I have completed a Pikes Peak ride as well as rides up Co. Springs Mountain Range Roads. Scared up a Brown bear which was exciting for both the bear and I.

Why I do/don't ride a Buell: |
I am highly impressed with the technology and innovation which Buell puts into their bikes. Mass Centralization just makes sense.
|
How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: |
Make a Ulysses with adjustable suspension height, so you can dial it up or down depending on the riding you'll be doing. I.e for off road riding, you'll extend suspension to get ground clearance, for track days, you'll shorten suspension so you are closer to the ground. My pedal mountain bike has this capability on the front fork..why not put it on the 2007 Ulysses and allow us to change front and rear shock height? I understand this is an engineering nightmare, but would love to see Buell look into it or tell me why then can't do it. Another option would be an adjustable seat height, but that has engineering issues as well.

Life History/Philosophy: |
Life it too short. Get out and experience it! What good is a high paying/high stress job if you have no time to spend with your kids or your gas powered toys!
|
Top speed on 2 wheels (mph): |
Speedo on my Suzuki Katana said 150, but it was really probably 130 or so. Won't ever do this again, but it was sure fun.
|
Preferred engine oil (brand/grade): |
Synthetic.
