Why I do/don't ride a Buell: |
Bought my Triumph here in "The OC"
AFTER OC H-D (no longer a Buell
dealer) spent 15 min. telling me
why I DIDN'T want a Buell, and
that they'd quit carrying 'em
after the sold the 3 they still
had. To me, that was a bad sign
for the marque's long-term
viablilty: not being available
in the Orange County part of
the greater LA Market. In ad-
dition, more and more former
H-D/Buell dealers are now just
carrying the former, no longer
the latter. Is Buell the next
Indian or Exelsior-Henderson?
|
How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: |
Offering the Buell brand as a free-standing line. That way,
a Honda/Triumph/Ducati/Yamaha, etc. dealer could also carry
Buell, without the baggae of
being directly associated with
H-D. There are cruiser riders
and there are sport-bike riders,
and apparently Buells get lost
in typical H-D dealerships.
