| Performance Mods!: | drag bars/ trimed the tail section and remounted rear signals to stock frme mounts under passenger seat/ relocated lics. plate under seat and removed guards. I had a harley carb with a 170 jet so the blast is now running a little less lean.(2002-later) |
| Problems/Miles (Please be specific): | The rocker gasket you mentioned here in the forums is just starting to go i think(2120miles). Sometimes the tranny thunks pretty good when while sitting in neutral is dropped in to first.Also there is some pooling of just a little bit of oil on top of the tranny undr the starter- more like seepage-can't seem to tell where coming from-is this common? Other than that the bike is great. |

| Favorite Rides (Roads and Routes): | one that stands out in my mind is route 13 between cazenovia ny and chittenango ny- twisty windy along acreek past a waterfall park. connects rt.20 to rt.5 It is short but if your in the area... I have traveled from colorado to california up the coast rt 1 and 101 to washington across the states and in to canada to central ny on a suzuki dr 650 enduro....that was wild... |

| How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: | as far as the p3 alittle more clearence an ability for better tire selection (enduro tires for example) A p3 diesel would be cool for mpg and i could run biodiesel. Have you seen the military enduro diesel? |
| Life History/Philosophy: | I like to keep things simple sustainable and efficient, fun is important as well and i like to have more time than money although some $$ for blast parts and other toys is cool. Since we all want more time to have fun with blasts and family and friends I advocate simply reducing overhead costs through natural building, efficient heating with rocket stoves (cobcottage.com) etc. Permaculture for example. Time to be a big kid(with responsibilities)and play. |
