Performance Mods!: |
The S2 has Lightning heads and cams plus a 'race' header with the 'race' muff and performance module. The Duc is fitted with a full FBF header system and CF slip-ons, opened air box with K&N filter element and a PCIII. CycleCat bar risers.

Problems/Miles (Please be specific): |
Uugghh, someone washed the Buell with high pressure and neglected to dry thoroughly...made the rear wheel bearing inner race sort of adhere to the axle...new tires, new bearings.

Fortunately, Missouri is blessed with some nice country roads that seem to go forever. Nice forests too.

Why I do/don't ride a Buell: |
If it wasn't for the Buells, I wouldn't have met many of the great and wonderful people I know from this forum and from riding MC's in Missouri. I wouldn't have the S2T or the Duc and wouldn't have had the M2 or the S1W. Heaven forbid, I could be polishing chrome instead of concentrating on being smoother, choosing a line, learning cambers...well, you get the drift here.

Switchin' to Rotella syn20/50...any oil good enough for a high compression turbo-diesel will be alright in the Buell
