early rocker box gasket on first 2000 buell - burned/leaked oil and seized piston on Chucktown - Key West adventure. Bad speedo sensor on M2 - who knows how many miles are on it now.

A1A and US-1 on Florida Atlantic coast, Kam Hiway on Oahu's windward coast, North Cascades Hiway, Rt. 66 (what's left), Cross Island Road and Rt 4 (Agat-Umatac-Merizo-Inarajan-Talofofo road) on Guam, Mt. Pleasant - Monck's Corner outside of Charleston, SC, Old hiway 210 by Might Mo River outside of hometown of Liberty, MO.

| Why I do/don't ride a Buell: |
~~~ FUN ~~~
Corner well, very maneuverable, liked the naked bike look (no extra junk), M2 and P3s easy to work on, low CG, smart engineering (brakes, oil, gas), look and sound better than riceburners, not as snobby as BMWs or Harleys, ~~~ FUN ~~~ and unpretentious.

| How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: |
Would like to have confidence that they're just as reliable as a BMW or anything else. Maybe in time.

graduated/moved away from midwest, lived in Charleston, SC for a few years ... like the islan' life. Stints in new england - no thanks. ~ 2 years on Guam and under the Pacific Ocean. 9 bad months outside Savannah, GA. ~ 1 year so far on Oahu ... fun, but not as fun as Charleston, believe it or not. my philosophy surely wouldn't work for you anyway, so find your own.
