I've ridden lots of Honda sportbikes over the years (CB500, Interceptor, VFR, Hurricane) a chunky butt 1000 Kawasaki Z1-R, and a BMW R100RT. I figured it was time to get a REAL motorcycle.

Customer service, own up to common problems not caused by lack of maintenance, customer service. Did I mention customer service?
