Performance Mods!: |
Scorpion Stainless Pipe. Screaming Eagle ignition module. Nology coil, wires and plugs.
|
Problems/Miles (Please be specific): |
32,000 Very few real problems. Trans cover gasket. The most significant problems are caused by vibration. Shit keeps falling off (even after routine tightening.) Also, vibration had basically ruined the previous V$H pipe, for which parts are no longer available. New Scorpion pipe is killer.
|
Other Mods/Misc/Customization.: |
A few unplanned scratches
|
Favorite Rides (Roads and Routes): |
Colorado canyons. The PERFECT bike for those canyons.

Why I do/don't ride a Buell: |
Bought as an early retirement gift to myself late in the season (1999), planned to resell and make some money. Loved it so much I never sold it ... that was 13 years ago. Got too old for it, now. Bought a Moto Guzzi Griso. Let my sons ride the S2. Selling in spring, hopefully.
|
How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: |
Make the new ones not look so ugly, well before the bean counters put their heads up their butts and killed us off.
|
Life History/Philosophy: |
Had bikes, then had kids so sold them. Kids left ... got bikes again, and a sailboat, ... and I collect vintage guitars and amps as well. Basically, all the stuff I had and did before I had kids I am doing again.
