| Problems/Miles (Please be specific): | First 2000 miles: speedo reading 0 mph and -- for gear indication while riding. Resolves after a few seconds. No cause, it's purely random. Also, third gear cut out. Bike acts like it goes in to safe mode and won't accelerate for about 2 seconds (denoided - fixed the problem) Always - Surging. Around 7000 miles, crank position sensor had pinched spot in wiring and made bike cut out while cruising. At the same time found incorrectly machined rotor. Also, had stator burn up - replaced all. Now 7600 miles & having IAT sensor issues (it is currently 30 degrees outside but my bike is trying to convince me that it is anywhere from 75 to 90 degrees depending on speed). | Why I do/don't ride a Buell: | I ride a CR because it is different. If I wanted to blend in, I'd get a GSXR. Oh, I almost forgot... TORQUE. |
| How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: | Offer more accessories/performance mods. Have dealers that really care about Buells and know what they are doing. |
