18,000 miles...a year or so after buying the bike as a demo i would hit the starter and all power would cut out. i'd take the back seat off wiggle the neg and pos cables, power would return and i'd be on my way.the same thing happened this spring only i'd get nothing, so i threw it on the trickle charger, and the topped up battery would kick her in and i'd go again. now i've got nothing but rear tail lights w/ the signals on both sides w/out flashing. i've had the battery tested and it's fine (12.7v w/ 300 cranking amps),i've swapped relays around and i've replaced 2 fuses that went while troubleshooting and nothing seems amiss. i can hear the engine kill switch click when the ignition switch is on but nada for the cluster, headlights etc.my cluster was replaced last year under warranty by the dealer and they figured this would solve that problem not to mention the wonky speedo. i've had the rear brake assembly replaced under warranty
which has now expired and the fuel sensor. thought i was good to go but here i am in a lurch. i absolutely love the bike, its a dream ride but3weeks after my warranty expires i get this. i actually want to tour w/ this baby.please help. the guy at the dealer said he's never heard of a situation like this b4. peace
