Thunderstorm heads and .010 over pistons, Lightning cams, lightened flywheels, Zippers windage tray, '98 MY oil pump, Factory race exhaust system, S1 ignition module, thick air filter element, re-jetted stock carb. Dyno'd in 1998 (36,000 miles) at 86.5 Hp and 80.8 ft/lbs of torque.

77,000 miles (almost) as of 11/01. Typical S2 problems - ignition switches, speedo drives and cables (unless properly oriented!), battery straps, and race headers and mufflers. Keeping the front tire on the ground

Other Mods/Misc/Customization.: |
Turn signals 'flushed into' the vents, solo seat and tail section along with dual seat tail and tail section. Custom paint, flames cut into rear fender, lower belt guard, header heat sheild, and cam cover. Front fender has red Kevlar flames inlaid into the Carbon Fiber. Chin Fairing added. Custom 'Swingarm Drive Support' i.e. Buell Arm machned from billet. Custom footpegs - custom ground, too! Fourth tie bar (for S2's) added between swingarm mount block and frame (where ground cable goes). Race Tech reworked forks. Carbon Fiber inserts in upper triple clamp and gas cap.
