Hey, I'm not a Buell owner yet (my current ride is a kawi VN 900) but I'm seriously looking at a Ulysses and thought I'd come here to find out a little more about the bike and what I'll need to know if I pull the trigger on this thing. It's a nice looking bike but with about 20K on the clock I'm concerned about service items or known problems that may cause me to rethink my choice or look at another U. thanks, RG |

Welcome to the forum guys! That CR sure is a sweet bike! "cause even your mom rides a gxer" That's funny! CR's are covered in the 1125R section and there's a FAQ's link posted at the top there if you've not browsed over there yet. Cpeg, thanks for your service, and thanks for joining us! Ron_g, be sure to check out the Big, Bad, and Dirty section for Uly info. If you use the search function you can refine it to that section, and make your search cover the last 365 days or so, or just browse the topics there on BB&D and delve into the archives for more info. There are frequently "What should I look for in a used..." threads. The XB forum can also be useful to you. -Mike |

Welcome all . . . this is really cool to read these posts and to see new folks. I've been riding Buells for about 23+ years . . not only are the bikes a hoot but it's a wonderful community with lots of knowledge to share. Dig around, snoop, search and wander . . ask questions and enjoy. By now most the subject have been tossed out and there is a wealth of accumulated knowledge . . don't hesitate to ask for help or any questions you may have. Welcome!~ Court |

Cpeg, Great to see you posting here! Like I told you, great bunch of riders here. Maybe the worlds best collection of Buell knowledge outside of Erik Buell's cranium. Welcome! |

Hello everyone. Just brought my first Buell home yesterday. 2006 XB12X. A nice ride from Princeton Indiana back home to Bloomington to get to know it. As far as I can tell it just needs to be ridden no leaks, no stumbles. It cam with the H/B side cases and a tank bag. I'm pretty excited. I am selling a 2002 SV650S if anyone is interested. |

Hello from Queensland. Bought a new XB12X made in Brazil June 2009 in Nov 2010, one of a batch brought to Australia from NZ (their loss our gain),Thought I'd missed the boat on a new Ulysses so was happy to grab one of these. 5000km's so far with no problems. First question(of many), from what month to what month did Buell year models run? |

Hey guys, new to the site, Looks like a good site for Buellers; happy to be here! I ride an 09 XB12Ss and am fairly new to Buells. I am in the process of selling my Lightning in order to get a Cr because I think they are the sickest 2-wheeled machines I've ever seen. |

Hey, here's a total noob. To this forum anyway. Heres the story, I took my 98 S1 apart during the winter of 09 - 10, to replace the stock heads with thunderstorms. Remodeling the house got in the way for a year and now I'm finally putting it back together. Im doing this whole forum thing from my Droid X, so hopefully I'll be able to post pics and everything. Oh yeah, its turbocharged too. |

Welcome guys! Turbo, be sure to share some pics with us in the Old School section. There are guys there who can tell you just where that left over bolt goes, just by looking at it. Pmlsfo where are you at in ID? I've got family on the right side (I.F and that region) and the left side (Nampa). Maybe one of these visits I'll get my bike back up there for some scenic riding. Hopefully everyone is getting a look around the site and browsing the various boards. |

Hi All, I'm Youri. I live in The Netherlands, and I'm new to Buell. I've ridden some supermotos and enduro/dirt bikes in the past and thought it was time to take it to another level... I was always crazy about the XB12S but lately the 1125CR caught my eye. Last week I test drived an 1125 and ended up trading my supermoto in for it! It's a '09 red 1125CR with 4400km (2750mls) on it. Next friday I can pick it up! Just can't wait... What a machine! |

Youri . . . Welcome! There are quite a few Buell riders in the Netherlands and we are thrilled to have you here. You'll find lots of fun things to read about and this is a good place to get information. Enjoy the Buell and we look forward to hearing more. Court Canfield |

Hello, Got a buell in trade and really like it. got it as a short trip commuter into City. From browsing the forum, I did lower footpegs and extended mirrors (comfort and safety). Also found some picks of a rear seat mod for a top case. Had Givi from my KLR lying around and whamo, works perfect.
I have a few other questions and will post them in the appropriate topics. Great wealth of knowledge here. Thanks, Phil |

Thanks for the warm welcome Court. I know there are quite some Buell riders here, we also have our own Dutch Buell forum. But unfortunately the "water cooker" isn't really represented there... I already found a lot of info on this site, and I am pleased to see that a lot of people carry out their own service and repairs to a bike as new as an 1125. It's a very good source of information! |

Hello all! I've loved Buell ever since a friend came back out of the blue with an M2 Cyclone in 2002 (yes, I know it rhymes ). Now, I have my very-own 2005 XB12S! I'm looking forward to learning more about the bike and get to know my fellow Buellers! (I live in Maryland) |

Hi all, I just bought my first Buell(2000 Blast) in April and have fallen in love with it. It's nice to see a place with so many knowledgeable people who love the brand. I've already been soaking up as much as possible over in the the Blast knowledge bank. I live pretty close to downtown Indianapolis so if anyone ever wants to ride just look for the red Blast riding around. hope to see you all out on the road, Mark White Apparentley my name is too close to one of the registed members so I'm using a made up one(full name above) |

chiming in to say hi. New to site. Figured after getting an 99 X1 Lightning recently, and already owning an 03 XB9R Firebolt, it was time to get onboard a few Buell forum sites. Also have 08 FatBob, 78 FX Lowrider, and late 84 XLX Sportster. Hi to all and hi to Tripp expecially. |
