Bryron_steve - Welcome to Badweb. There are several Badwebbers from down under. I do not know how many old school Buellers but there were several with Ulys. Check out the Old School Buell section for others with pre=XB Buells. |

Hi, I've been doing a lot of research on this site on buying a new bike. Thanks for all the help. You guys didn't even know you were helping. Anyway, waiting for my new firebolt to show up. Should be here in a couple more days. |

Picked up my Ulysses on Saturday from Eastside Harley.. got a fantastic deal!!! Apparently the bike was used as a demo and a rental.. so i got a huge price break while still getting the 24 month warranty.. Formally a KTM Adventure rider, I compared the 950 and the gs bmw, and found that the Uly was way more fun to run, and maintenance/service costs seem to run lower than the others. Loving it!!!

Court, I started having visions of the wife's 1125R and extensive repairs after her upcoming track day adventures. So yesterday we went to Indy-Southside and bought an 95 xb9 for track days. So now she is the proud owner of 2 Buells. Stand by for upcoming tech advice requests. |

Another happy new Ulysses owner here. I picked up a new '06 with 38 miles yesterday with a full set of bags for $7500 OTD. I was shocked to say the least. |

95 XB9 ? ? ? . . now that is a RARE bike! . . . and to think I thought both of them were hidden. The XB9 is a VERY competent track bike . . . I suspect she'll enjoy the heck out of it. Keep us posted and . . . well . . enjoy ALL your Buells! Ride safe, lean much and smile more, Court |

Hello. I just found out about this site from a Buell dealer that I spoke to today. I currently ride a Kawasaki KLR650 and I love the riding position and size but I want more power and performance. I am going to look at the Buell Ulysses as soon as I get a chance to travel to a Buell dealer. |

Welcome all! We're happy to welcome you and are glad you found our little community of Buell Motorcyclists here on the web. Check our the Thumper Forum (Buell Blast forum) for information on that model. |

Greetings y’all, I bought my ’08 Uly Jan 30 and have put 3500 miles on it so far – and that’s being out of town 3 weeks. I know I have “new bike syndrome”, but this bike is GREAT! It is a very versatile and capable motorcycle. I had been looking at the bike for a couple of years and finally bought it after my trusty ’85 HD FXRS (120k miles) suggested I rebuild its wiring harness. It seems the humidity in south Georgia (swamp gas) takes its toll on 23-year-old wires. Since I planned to take my time during the restoration, I knew I had to get another bike to feed my two-wheel habit. I am very pleased I bought the Uly. I put in a couple 500 miles days recently and was pleasantly surprised how comfortable I was. I look forward to many more road trips. Many thanks to the keepers and users of this website. I’ve just scratched the surface and have already found many helpful tech tips and some inspirational travel logs. Best regards, Road Kill |

THE MULE: Well its done, at least for a while. (gotta save up for a while) You know I can never stop tinkering with my bikes so the oil cooler, Track day wheels and slicks, and a chain conversion are its destiny but for now I am quite happy with the progress.

Anyone going to the Buell 25th Anniversary party in July from the Paramus, NJ or NYC area and like to share the drive (F150 and trailer)? Yeah, I know, I should be riding... Thanks. |

Howdy all! I've been lingering here for quite a while now, mostly buying and selling Buell parts for my streetfighter sportster project that's ow going a different direction. I am quite active on the XL Forum under the same name, but I'm proud to say that I'll be spending a lot more time here now since I am purchasing a very purty '95 S2. I pick it up in 3 weeks . |

Hello all, My name is Mike and I am addicted to motorcycles. I think many of you here are too. I live in central Florida (finally) and get to ride year 'round without shivering. I've been riding and piddling around with bikes for over 30 years and I have been fascinated with Buells since my first demo ride in 1999. Finally got the right opportunity to own one a little over a year ago so I bought a nice used 2001 M2L. However, just a couple of days ago, the good folks at Seminole Buell Shop fixed me up with a 2008 Uly. What a great bike! Anyway, as a result of this, I signed onto the board here to partake in the exchange, on occasion, and to use the classified section to advertise the "tuber" as I must now let it go. Too many bikes, not enough garage.... (Message edited by ready2ride on May 02, 2008) |

Hey Mike ! . . . we've been waiting for you. You'll find that a good part of the crowd has been fiddling with bikes since around the days of Woodstock. We'll be eager, having some true seat time on the M2L, to hear your thoughts on the Ulysses. I've been riding Buells since the late 80's and it finally good to start having lots of company. Welcome and we're glad to have you here. Court Canfield |

what's up guys and girls? I just adopted a stray 06 XB12SS last October and have finally been having the weather to ride. She's my first Buell and my first bike and I could NOT be happier. These bikes are great and forgiving even to the new riders. I love the sound and the smooth power it delivers. very "predictable" as Erik puts it. If there is anyone in the Southeastern part of WI that wants to get a ride together, hit me up! Once again, glad to be here and hope to share my experiences with everyone and learn a few things in the process. |

I have been lurking around here for a while now while riding my Electra Glide. Today (couple of hours ago) I pulled the trigger on a leftover '07 XB12STT. An orange one. Can't wait til I pick it up on Wednesday. I should prove to visit more and maybe be asking questions. (Message edited by lazylion on May 10, 2008) |
