Kenji:

Welcome to badweb and congratulations on the Blast. You could not have picked a better bike to learn on. Take your time, be safe and ask lots of questions. There is a lot of experience here and you'll likely even find some folks who've done their own tippy-toeing first rides at 3AM.

WELCOME!

yeah, it should be exciting, there isn't alot of roads but there sure are some very scenic ones, and i don't think there is a straight road on the island, except in the cities, but who wants to ride there anyhow

Hey folks... It's official I finally got my 1125R. #237 Rode it home from Stone Mountain Harley, and it started to rain. A sprinkle at first, then pitch forks & puppy dogs all the way home, just my luck. But we need the rain in Atlanta worse than bad . My first impression is that it's a great bike shifts well runs great awesome brakes. Did I mention it looks way cool? But I was being super cautious new bike in a downpour I'm sure you get the picture. More rides in better weather soon The bike looks a whole lot better in person that's for sure I love it. It was well worth the wait. Been riding my Norton's as long as Eric's been making Buell's. My Norton was the bomb then and the 1125R in my opinion is the bomb now. I'm like a kid at christmas... Hey wait a minute it is christmas Sign me Ex (and I really mean) Ex Norton

Hello to whom it may concern...

Just found it very funny that "Hot Bobby" still has the name that I tagged him with last April at T.W.O. That is way too hilarious! Thanks you guys for a fun-filled weekend for us!

Ex -

You shoulda drained the fluids and laid a slab of glass on the Norton. Make a great table.
Such beautiful bikes.

Enjoy the new ride.

I am new to this group. I had a 97 M2 and it was stolen in 98 and I have been without a bike since. I am staying with a fellow BadWeb person in CO until I find a job (just retired) and he has me convinced to get another Buell... I just need to decide on what to get. I was going to move back to WY but after taking f_skinner's XB12R in the mountains yesterday I may stay here. I am still going through all the great info on this site. Thanks, Tom

HI! Just discovered this web site, I'm thinking about buying a Ulysses this spring. I currently have an 04 Moto Guzzi 750 Breva. I've been riding motorcycles since 1966, I've owned Japanese, British, German, and now Italian, but never American. I like my Guzzi but I've been having a intermittent problem with it that the dealer can't fix because it runs fine whenever I take it in. I want to get something that is more comfortable for long distance rides and the Ulyesses just seems to be the best for me.

Dennis:

Welcome to the madness! You're going to find all the information you could possibly want or need about Buells here plus lots of opinion. Like the information the opinion is right most the time and always fun.

There are a number of us, including Erik Buell, who'd likely;y be in your age group and cut our teeth on some of the bikes you've mentioned. We've also got a couple recent Moto Guzzi converts so you can get some info there.

The Ulysses is a really neat bike and one that's brought lots of new faces to the world of Buell. You'll find lots of tech tips, upgrades and ride reports from folks around the world.

Welcome aboard . . .

Hi and Happy New Year to everyone! My name is Seth and I'm a Buell rider. I'm new to this site, referred here by a guy I met here in Lemoore, CA. I'm a fairly new motorcycle rider with less than a year.

My first motorcycle is a 2002 Buell Blast purchased in Sept '07 with 2500 miles on it. It had been laid down by the previous owner once or twice but only cosmetic damage. Still, it was in good enough shape to serve as my learner bike. It originally had black panels but the other owner had spray painted it blue to cover scratches. After I laid it down once, I was not able to match colors so I repainted it black again. This is the bike as it looks now:

Not satisfied with a 490cc bike I purchased a 2002 Buell M2 Cyclone used from someone off ebay. Not a terrible experience but he had added aftermarket intake and exhaust without re-jetting the carb, this was causing some major backfire from both the intake and exhaust. My bike is currently being gone over by HD of Fresno. I have ridden it however on the 405 and PCH in LA. The bike is without a doubt exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait to get it back on the road again.

Anyway, I've already got a little technical help from posts in the tech forums. This seems like a really good site and I look forward to getting to know everyone.

Seth

Hello, I'm new to the forum, and just recently started riding. I'm in the US Air Force, stationed in Germany. I picked up a 2002 Cyclone M2L (US spec) last summer and couldn't get enough of it... I was looking for every opportunity to ride. I've been surfing around the forum to get ideas, but just now getting around saying a formal hello. I'm excited to own a Buell, as all my friends ride full fairing bikes and I stand out from the crowd with the naked style and thundering V-twin and V/H exhaust... Loads of fun... I can't wait for spring to roll around!

Beautiful bike there Seth - nice upgrade.
The Blast is nice, but that's a gorgeous Cyclone, congrats and welcome to BadWeB.

I'm pretty new here, but I'm firmly addicted to the place already.
Great folks and a plethora of info and help.
Input from the Anonys at the factory is priceless.

Ride safe
Zack

Recently added an XB9S to my collection (FXR & Electraglide) Think I'll need some
sliders and track time to get full Buell
benefit. See you out there.

Very cool site. It must be an honor to be linked to the EB and the Thunderbolt's site. I'm just a novice rider w/ an '07 Blast. But love the philosophy of EB-making a US made bike that is "designed for the rider".
don't want the free subscription-happy to pay for it. Just wanted to say Hi.

I have been watching the forum for some time. Always interested in the thoughts of others. I could not replace my YZF600 with a Buell - until now.
