Howdy y'all, Right now I am in Kaiserslautern Germany (Active Duty USAF), and in 2010 I will retire back to Eagle River Alaska. If anybody is in this part of the world and would like to meet up for a ride, let me know. Do to my job I may or may not be available but when I'm home I ride as much as my CINC (Commander in Chief) will let me! Later, Tank |

Hello everyone! I finally joined the Buell family and brought home a new XB12STT! I'm still breaking it in, but so far it's a blast. I picked up the Super TT on Saturday, and I spent the rest of the afternoon putting on 200 miles on it riding the Wisconsin back roads. I actually rode directly to the Buell factory during the first part of my ride, just to say I did. The ride was very enlightening because I was taking it easy, but still cornering as quickly as I had on the bike I traded in. This bike is really going to be fun! George |

Word up, or something I'm a relatively new biker - learned about a year and a half ago whilst having a rough time personally as a bit of escapism, and haven't looked back. For a while I inherited a Ducati 907 IE from my Dad, an old sports tourer that spent more time in the fixing shop than on the road. In march I decided enough was enough, and went to get a new bike. I ended up with a Ulysses, and I've been very happy with the bike Here's me and the bike at when it hit 1000 miles. I pulled over to take a pic to mark the occasion Pleased to meet you all |

Here's a shot of me and my new Ulysses in Arkansas last week end. I have been riding most of my life. For the past few years on Harley's. I have always been intrigued by the dual sport world. I enjoy getting off of the beaten path.

I used to do the socalriders thing when I lived in San Diego. At the time I had the oldest bike in the group (for a primary) with my 86 gsxr750. I even took 3rd place in a bike show at Lee's Cycle (shop made semi-famous by Jeremy Toye in RRW). We had some good rides, Palomar/Julian and up to the Ortega. Too many get ego driven in the "fast group" and end up in the ditches or off the mountain when they got in over their heads though. You know the type. |

What's up? I just joined the board today after picking up an black '04 XB12S. Prior owner was kind enough to already install a Drummer, race ECU, race filter, and brand new Pirelli Diablo Corsa tires. Aside from that and frame pucks she's all stock including the airbox. It's been a while since I've owned a bike so I'm going to take it really easy until I get used to this monster. I love this bike! - Lake Stevens, WA |

Hey whats up. My name is Jason, Im from South Western PA(Ebensburg area). I was introduced to the site from a guy at a local car show, Chris(XB9er). I ride a 2003 XB9R custom painted Viper blue and silver. I've been riding Japanese sport bikes for about the last 8 years and figured it was time for a change. Im also getting older and starting to slow down a little bit, not feeling the need for 170+hp anymore . So I decided to try out a Buell, ive got about 1000 miles on the bike so far and its winning me over slowly but surely. Its not rediculously fast or anything but it handles well and is seeming to be a real fun bike. Looking foward to meeting some other local Buell riders, as these bikes seem to be pretty rare in this area. Here are a few pics of my 9R..........

Hello all, This is the sweet ride I am picking up on saturday.
It is technically used but only has 1 mile on it and was just titled in march so pretty much full warranty. It's an 07 XB12Ss that I got for $7995! My username was supposed to be "his&hers" because my wife rides a blast and since she won't let me ride it any more I had to get my own. Well enough for now and I'm sure you'll be hearing more from me as I am officially obsessed with Buells! Oh, does anyone know how I can change my username since it wouldn't let me use the ampersand? |

Welcome aboard. . . I've been obsessed with Buells since I rode my first one about 20 years ago. This is a great place to meet some dandy folks, learn alot and generally make your Buell experience the best it can be. Scout about, start reading, sharing and have a great time. Ride safe, Court Canfield |

Hey Buell Brethren! Bought my Lighting last year and love it. I've done the dirtbike thing and enduro thing and decided to try something different. I walked into the showroom, saw it sitting there in front of me, litterally grabbed the first salesman that was walking by, asked what the cc's were, and then told him to put a "sold" tag on it. He asked me if I wanted to take it for a test ride and and I just said "No, thanks but that's my bike and I'll be picking it up tomorrow". It was built for a girl like me! Going to California in a week, any suggestions of roads that would be fun? |

New to me '02 X1 owner here. Might as well be new with under 2400 miles on the clock. Prev/orig owner really kept this bike nice for me. Black/Nuclear Blue. Race A/C and WhiteBros E Series exh. I've only taken it out for a quick eight mile run on a back road just to familiarize myself with it. Never got outta third. Nice, quick, nimble bike with amazing brakes to match the power of this thing. Bought a Blast for a past other half a while back and that was the only other Buell I rode. Just parted with an off the chain FXDX with a sick hi comp 95" SE motor. I missed it too much and came across this little gem for substantially less than half what I got for the old girl. I think I'm gonna like this bike as soon as we get used to eachother. Looking forward to spending a little time here and learning more about our horse of a different color. Here's a pic if it works...

Hi all. I'm back into bikes after 20 years away from them. I learnt to ride on a Yamaha XT 500 dirt bike and then into Jap 4 cylinder road bikes ending with a Suzuki GSX 1100 back in the 1986. Now at the age of 53 I have bought a shiny red XB12R Firebolt and damn do I love it. Fitted a Drummer muffler the other day and it's brilliant. Sounds like a real bike now. Only thing that sucks are the stock mirrors so AmericanSportBike are sending me a set of bar-end ones as we speak. Working on the chicken strips, working on "the pace", working on getting the wife to let me out of the "dog house", grinning from ear to ear. |
