Hello Everybody! Longtime viewer, first time poster... I figured that I have borrowed enough of everyone's knowledge and experiences here, that its time to make myself available to give back. This is probably the greatest web page in the history of the internet...but I might be a tad bit partial! |

Hi everyone! This is my first post after being turned on to this site by a fellow Bueller from East Texas, Keith Thrash (Skully). The amount of info on this site is overwhelming! Thanks Keith! I just got my first street bike, a 2006 Buell XB9SX City-X, in early September. I'm loving the bike and wondering why it took so long for me to get one. |

I've been sniffing around at Buells for a while, and finally got a line on a really nice 1997 Cyclone with only a few miles on it. I sold my old boat anchor 1981 BMW R100 RT to an "airhead" lover for the same asking price as my Cyclone, and never looked back. My "new" Buell is mostly original, with a Vance and Hines pipe, S2 cams and a re-jet. I have to work at not wearing the knees off of my jeans! Dang, these things are fun. |

Hello Folks Ed here,Chattanooga Tennessee, borrowed your site to try and figure out just what the heck was a Buell when my wife started really aching for a bike. The info here was very helpful, and knowing I could ask for advice when I needed it made me feel better. Found her an 04 Blast earlier this week and she's lovin it. Hasn't mentioned wanting a horse since she got the bike(which is a lot less trouble). She's happy, what more could a man want? Messed up and ran it down the road last night, had been a long time, hadn't been on one since I parked my old Z1 in '79. Now I'm afraid she won't share enough and I may have to start hunting something for me! Thanks for being here, sure I'll need advice before long Ed |

Hey Rotza, Come on over to the Thumper Forum for all of us singles. There's a few guys who really know the Blast just a little bit too well. |

Hi, I'm 62 and have been riding a Road glide with a 124" motor & 6speed. In July I picked up a 2006 Ulysses and now after a few mods I'm ready to get rid of the Glide. As usual I'm always looking for more useable power. Glad to join your site, but I know a whole lot more about motorcycles than computers. thanks. |

Got my Ulysses a month ago. I am 53, been riding for a couple of years and the Uly makes 5 bikes. Now that I am finding out what the Uly can do, the Nomad, the Trophy and maybe even the Intruder chopper (Demon) are going. Between the Valk Interstate and the Uly, I'm ready to ride anywhere anytime. I have been lurking here and posted a couple of times. I don't understand the difference between the general discussion board and the quick board. Apparently nearly everyone uses the quick board so why both of them? Anyway, the forums are great, I just wish there were some Uly riders or adventure riders down here in South Texas. Bill |

Hey guys, Brand new here. Just came off of an XL1200R (Sportster) and bought an XB12R. I was getting tired of trying to get my Sportster to do what a Buell could, and knowing I could NEVER get there. Looking forward to spring! |

LOL headshot. If it makes you feel any better about the price, the Gold Wing actually has *more* parts then the Accord. Honda shoulda bought Buell when they had the chance. |

Hell, man, keep the Wing and get a Blast. It's like yin and yang, night and day, simon and garfunkel, green eggs and ham. If my Wing was still running I think I'd keep both. |

Well now that I figured out how this board works, I just thought I'd say Hey. I just got a 2007 XB12Ss and this is my second Buell. I've ridden many a makes and models in my day and this is one of my favourites. I've got five bikes in the stable from cruisers to dirt and have been a rider since my earliest memories. Before I ramble too much (too late I guess) G'day and I'll see ya round |

The first thing that I would like to say is "THANK YOU" to all that have helped me without knowing it. I've been reading your threads since I first found out about this terrific site!!! You have all helped me through finding a pipe, intake, gasket replacement for rocker boxes, and of course how could I forget the shifting shaft and all the wonderful parts that are associated with it!!! Hope that I may contribute to someone in the future, shiny side up (in December !!!!!!!!)} |
