So over on the FaceBook 1190 page there was a thread that started to try and come up with a group buy with Corbin to try and get the seats made if we had enough interest. Well Corbin said they weren't interested and the thread kinda died. Well it started up again and there is a dealer in NY, Big Boyz Toys, that is trying to get EBR to place the order with Corbin for us if we can generate enough interest. Here is his post on FB. I would have been all over this had I not got a custom seat made already. I'd still entertain the thought if I knew the price Corbin was asking. | ||

I know that they were listed on the EBR site and I was told at the NY IMS that they are $399 for both the rider and passenger seat with or without the embroidering. I don't know if they are going to change the price so I'm just going to assume that the price hasn't changed. | ||

Check out Stitch Willson on the 1190 Owners Group for seats as well. His pair of seats run $225.00 with jell and a raised front seat height. His seats look great but your not getting the logo with him as far as I've read, but, based on the cancelled pre-orders the last time they were offered under LAP ownership, you may not get them this time from EBR either.} | ||

I sat on the Corbin seat at the NY IMS show and it is way better than stock. Yours is one of the few asses to place a cheek on this seat, so it's good to finally hear something about this aspect of it. I'm really hoping that we can make this happen. Agreed. | ||

the saddleman seat is better. we did a group buy in 2010. I love mine that center gap channel gives nice AC for the hot spots! | ||

I called them direct (corbin) and whoever the guy was I spoke with, completely clueless. Estimate over the phone, $500+ and I quote, "can't use the stock seat pan, so you'll have to pay for tooling for new seats, who knows how much that's gonna be". Sorta sounded like he'd never even heard of EBR. Texted Stitch via facebook from the 1190 owners group, 1.5 week turn around time and that's with a holiday weekend in there. 3 days shipping to Montana, 3 days back plus time to actually modify my stock seats, gel inserts, additional padding and new covers for all of $260 shipped. Much as I'd have liked to get in on the corbin seat deal, I didn't get a warm-n-fuzzy feeling from the company. (Message edited by d_adams on May 29, 2017) | ||
