If you can get a 2016 for practically the same price as the leftover 2014's and 2015's, that's a pretty good deal as you'd get all the updates (2-piece tail plastic to prevent cracking, reduced pull clutch springs, and updated display) plus a full one-year warranty. The warranty's not of much value to me since the closest dealer is ~500 miles away, but the other updates would be nice to have. | ||

Now as I look out at the dusting of snow, all I can think about is another Thursday at Dulono's. Hopefully a crappy year for metro snowmobiling might mean a nearly season for motorcycling. The IMS this weekend is just the ticket to get my hopes up. | ||

Prices above are correct, just not sure if I can pull the trigger. To many question marks regarding parts, service, warranty and LAP's "true" end game. | ||

I've put 40k on the 1125 so I have acclimated well. That being said, it's still more power than I will ever need. I love my 1125 and I will never let it go. The only reason for me to buy the 1190RX was that I have lusted over it's beauty since I first laid eyes on it. It's more bike than I will ever know how to ride anywhere near it's potential I know but damn its beautiful. As far as parts availability, I have done some serious thinking about it. I know deep in my heart that I have the type of mentality and connections that I will find away to fix this Unicorns horn if it breaks. What you get for 10k is amazing. I would have gladly paid 14k for it if EBR was secure. | ||

I just bought a 2016 SX at Action Power Sports... going to pick it up on Monday....Pretty pumped, and not worried about parts... life is short.. buy the bike! | ||

Nice work, those who take the plunge. I bought my 2016 at full price, and yeah it stings a bit seeing the firesale prices, but I've no regrets. Unquestionably the most 'special' bike I've owned. If any of the EBR folks are reading, thank you for doing your best to make it. It's tough out there, but your work will live on on the roads for years to come. | ||
