After putting up with the extremely soft stock seat foam from day 1, I contacted James Renazco at the suggestion of a coworker. His specialty is custom dual sport seats, mainly working with KTMs and the like. James was eager to take on this challenge and I jumped on the 10 week waiting list after a quick phone call with the guy. My build week was here before I knew it, and the stock seats (front and rear) were shipped out to him in CA, with the only information he had to go off being a few pictures I gave him and a description of what I wanted. Suede was offered as he is used to dual sport seats, but I ultimately went with vinyl as I live in WI and weather is a concern. I decided on a red French stitch to compliment the shock spring, and I'm glad I did. After my first and second rides yesterday, I've fallen in love with my EBR all over again. The comfort is what I expected from the factory, and I can ride for longer than 30 minutes again. With the weather turning, I don't know how extensive I'll get to test comfort this year, but I know it'll swerve me well. Let me know what you guys think!

Beautiful work. Cost, and are they back to the 10 week lead time? |

I paid 750 for the pair of them, and a swear pillion strap (not pictured) was included. I imagine the lead time is similar but haven't asked. Get on the list while you can, as winter will likely increase his workload. |

Check him out @ http://www.renazco.com/ He does great work, and is a hell of a guy to work with. This is what he does, and mine was the first, but hopefully not the last, EBR he has done. |

How did he do the Pegasus logo on the pillion, stitched? Amazing. |

I provided the jpeg image to him, it was then digitized and input into a computer controlled embroidering machine. It's a cool process. I chose the outline of the Pegasus to match the log on the center of the handlebars. |

Very nice. Any change to the seat height/thickness? |

1" of foam was added to both seats, so the ride height was changed by roughly that amount, maybe slightly more because the foam compresses less than the stock (awful) foam. The ergonomics were created in the foam, and the "dimension lines" were created with the stitching. Best of both worlds I think. I now have comfort and looks! |

That is nice looking. Well worth the coin for a custom and comfortable sx. |

Extremely worth it, especially if it makes me want to ride more. A custom seat is the first thing I buy on every bike. |
