Just curious if anyone had speculation on why there are so few RX for sale, and so many SX? (mainly speaking new, EBR timeframe, or demo bikes) Seems like SO MANY people have hard ons for naked bikes......... (Message edited by sprintst on October 05, 2016) |

You could look at it two different ways: 1) There are more SX bikes for sale because no one is buying them because the demand for the RX is higher... -or- 2) More people are buying them for the purpose of reselling because the demand for the SX is higher. Since I think a significant percentage of EBR owners were (or still are) Buell owners, I would imagine the SX would be the more popular model, as the Buell Lightning was much more popular than the Buell Firebolt. That's just my guess. As for me - I bought both. I should add - I don't know the full numbers, but SXs were made in 2014, 2015, and 2016. RXs were only made in 2014 and 2016. The 2014 bikes are mostly sold. EBR didn't build many RX in 2015 but built a lot of SX. |

I don't **think** ANYTHING was built in 2015. Who owns a 2016? I've asked a couple times but it seems most are left over 2014 units. |

I stand corrected . . . I look and see tons of reviews and product write ups on the 2015 EBR models. It's confusing . . . because I look at the EBR dealers, from the EBR website, for New Jersey and New York (roughly 15,000,000 folks in the area) and I see not a single word about EBR. No inventory, no mention . . . nada. I think, after being signed on for 5 or 6 months, someone from LAP would be on the horn saying "at least add something like we sell EBR" to your website. I'm going to go back to my old tricks and wander into some shops and see what my eyes see. New Jersey Wide World Powersports 665 State Route 23 S. NRHS had the first 2015 SX in Colorado, for reference. They only built SXs in 2015. |
