What are EBR owners finding to be the best choice for insurance on an 1190? What kind of cost? |

Markel....don't own a EBR but they insure my bikes for about $300 a year less then Geico. For Progressive was about $500 a year more. They also cover any farkles up to $1000 automatically and you can buy more if you want. |

Just did it today. Full coverage for $267 a year in Massachusetts via Progressive for a 2015 SX. |

Don't have an 1190 yet, but can comment on Progressive. Despite the fact that a agent refused to tell me what one of my Harleys was covered for when I started upgrading it, and didn't sell me additional coverage like she should have, they include $3000 worth of accessory coverage with their full coverage policies. That helped a great deal when the bike was stolen. They do require receipts though. I didn't have all of mine but was able to get duplicates of what I was missing. Good thing I had well over the $3000 even without the $700+ one from J&P. It arrived three weeks after the bike was settled. Progressive did give me a little static over the S&S internal engine parts, claimed they were routine maintenance. I told the adjuster I had all the perfectly serviceable original parts in my shop to show them if they wanted. They accepted the receipts. |

Did mine right online, saw the accessories option right there towards the bottom of what coverage I wanted. They even ask what the agreed total amount to cover was. |
