Deal of the century? I disagree. Not trying to be a jerk, but I've had some pretty good steals over the years. 1998 S1W, cosmetic damage, purchased in 2008 for 1000. 2000 Racing Stripe X1, bad injector and rear shock, purchased in 2007 for 1000. 1996 BMW R1100RT, turnkey bike, needed clutch and trans in the next 10k miles, purchased in 2010 for 1000. 5700 for a bike with an unknown amount of damage to the steering stops, with an unknown amount of damage done to the body, with a crash story that doesn't add up to the damage to the bike. It looks like a 4k bike to me. | ||

I got my 09 1125CR for 2k. With 6k on the odometer. Just meant it would go along way to keeping someone's 1190RX that they paid full price for on the road. And if he says he will 5k likely could get him down a little more. That's a good deal for a parts bike. IMHO. Keeping your bike on the road is priceless, when you can't get the parts you need | ||
