I upgraded to Baker 1125R HD springs, which I was under the impression was going to be an upgrade. Is there a seperate spring just for the 1190's? I'm getting major slip in 3rd gear WTFO. Dean Adams exhaust PC5 260lb rider |

I took it apart, inspected plates, and installed IAW the 1125R manual. Steel plates machined side facing inward, last friction plate offset on mounting teeth. |

1st steel plate faces the other way. I have no clue why I didn't see it in the 1125 manual, but it is in the 1190 manual. Slip is no more. And a word of warning, the Barnett's 1125R clutch springs are softer than the 1190 comfort kit springs. I read in a few sources otherwise, and took their word for it. I guess if you don't plan on giving it full throttle past 2nd gear, or if you weigh less than 180 pounds, it shouldn't be a problem. |
