Looking to put an XB front wheel on an 1190RX. I'm thinking I may just need a bearing swap. Has anyone done this on here? I feel like I have seen a few before. |

What is the reasoning behind this? weight? |

Keeps the front end down and slows the steering haha. |

Can't be weight (I wouldn't think). The RX front wheel is lighter than the XB wheel due to the spoke design. |

Lol. The reasoning is economics. I am putting RX BPF forks on my 1125, I am retaining the Buell front wheel on the 1125. |

Why didn't you start out the thread with that information?...that you were putting BPFs from an RX on your 1125. |

Because its not important or relative to the information that I requested... It doesn't make a difference what bike the forks are on. (Message edited by Rick_fears on November 08, 2015) |

My point was that if you had asked if anyone had put BPFs on an 1125, you probably would have gotten some answers. EBR sold BPFs before the RX was released. You might get some answers in the racing forum. |

For future reference, direct bearing swap between the xb and 1190 wheel, same OD with differing ID. I'll have mine mounted shortly. |

There's a difference in spacing, btw. The 1190 wheel is something like 120mm + a 5mm spacer. The 1125r era wheels were more than that. I have the actual numbers written down on my lathe as I'm making spacers to convert an 1190 wheel for use on 1125r forks right now... |
