I walk out to leave work this afternoon, and what do I see... The gauge cluster is in "two" pieces..!? The face, as my Grand mother used to say..."come from together"..! I assume that it happened sometime during the drive in at 4:30am this morning. I walked all the way back to my office and get some plastic (flash breaker) tape and secured the two halves together. Everything seems to be working, but what the hell..? What's next ? Anyone know what adhesive has failed its job ? Mike |

Pictures...?? Just use the creativity of your mind, and picture the cluster in two pieces, split in the upper /lower split line, so that the internals are easy to access...shouldn't be that.... In this computer age, are we loosing the ability to "picture" things in our minds, without needing to see the real thing or finished product ? Mike |

This is DAMN FUNNY! Sometimes it's best to say as little as possible, so I'm going to leave it at that... 1313 (Message edited by 1313 on August 19, 2015) |

Dear sir, you are about 950 words short of the 1000 words that a picture is worth. So get typing, or get to posting that picture! |

It's . not . EBR's . fault ..seems just another classic vendor/manufacturing quality control issue, similar to the many that plagued earlier Buells IMHO ..bummer nonetheless (Message edited by thumper1203 on August 21, 2015) |

In a way it's their fault for picking a vendor whose product isn't up to the task. When it was time to go new bike shopping my wife said, "Don't buy another Buell" because of reliability issues. I took her on two long trips and both times we were at auto parts stores as I was fixing stupid crap in the parking lot. |

The concept is sound but the application is floored. Your only as good as the weakest link. choose the best parts not the cheapest. |

choose the best parts not the cheapest. Didn't realize you were part of the supply chain group at EBR to know that they chose the cheapest part. Interesting. |

It's . not . EBR's . fault How's that? Vendor selection, quality control, and inspection are some of the most critical parts of manufacturing. If 'bad' parts make it into final assembly then there is either a flaw in the process or the design. |

Did you realize the repetitive crash and burn concept has branded the name. |

There is one last shot and this is it. Here's hoping good things come out of this hiatus. |
