I don't think anyone's posted this: http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/2015-ebr-1190rx- road-test-motorcycle-review?src=SOC&dom=fb Overall a very favorable review. |

The temptation to wait for "v2.0" is very real. So is the temptation to have a 2014 first-production-run I-was-there-before-it-was-cool model |

I'd rather ride than wait. If V2 comes out and its all gizmoed out I will really be glad I bought when I did. I'm just not a big fan of the all electronics approach where the bike is near unrideable without them. Turn off all the nannies on an Panigale and the average guy doesn't have much fun if he survives the lap. Turn off the TC on the RX and you may notice a little slip here on there but other than that ... no drama even when riding hard. They designed a bike that has little need of TC but have to sell to a market full of bikes that can't live without it. Now if you want to include blutooth ODBC to data log telemetry to my phone, I'm ok with that. |

I am with Classax. Not even sure my traction control works. Never turned it on. |

When you add up all the things one might be expecting out of a later edition, I have to agree with you guys. What do we hope for in later models? Anti-lock brakes? - Already earned my braking skills the hard way Wheelspeed sensing Traction control - bike already has TC and barely needs it More power - always nice but 161 at the wheel is probably more than you can use anywhere but the main straight of a racetrack Quickshifter - Retrofit Refinements - dash interface could be improved and traction control on the fly would be nice So, not really a whole lot to hold one's breath for |

^ I've read several places that ABS is mandatory for Europe starting next (?) year, so you can be sure we'll see it on EBR's soon. |
