I'd never feel bad about paying MSRP ..... You pay the price at the time you buy the bike.
There are always great stories (like the S2 I bought from Buell Distribution Corp) for $1 out there. I pay the best price I can get at the time ..... Bikes, cars, guitars & cameras .... And never look back. I spent over $5k in a camera store last week and when I see all the "killer" deals it takes little reading of the fine print to see they are gray market and used rental units.
Sometime ...... I'm going to have to tell you what happened to all the unsold Buells when HD axed Buell. Now THERE is a story!!
Wow. That's very cool to see "human" prices on such a neat bike. Were I in the market I'd be sorely tempted to get one and convert it to a sport tourer.
No matter which bike I bought over the years; somebody would tell me where I could have gotten one for less. When I'm buying a bike, I try to decide if the enjoyment I get from the bike is worth what I'm spending. In the case of the SX, I would think that even at full MSRP, I would be happy with the deal I got. It's that good.

^^I think the folks who write that are generally referring to the 1190RX- it's a little tight to get your gloved hand into the fairing to monkey with the buttons, especially while you're riding.

That is correct, I took that video at a demo day, I used the SX because it would be easier to play around with. The RX is not hard to use by any means, the SX is just easier as it is closer and no working around the fairing.
