Not too bad to do. Front is easier to do than rear. In order to access rear, rear subframe needed removed and supported off to the side. Only had to adjust both rear intake valves. Mine were at .005 in. Now at .006 in.

For those of you who ride in rain, inspect and clean air filter often. Mine was NASTY after 6200 miles.

Doing your own valve service won't void your warranty? I've read posts of BMW dealers not honoring warranties because owners had removed fairings and such.

No. As long as it's documented, they shouldn't be able to void the warranty.

Did EBR send you the service manual pages to do the tear down and adjustment?? Or are you experienced and figured it out?

Mechanic by profession. Have done an 1125 a couple times. Contacted EBR for specs and ran with it

There was considerable discussion last year about whether you had to rotate or not.

I reported that I was told at the AIM Expo that rotation would not be required. Guess I was given the straight scoop.

Yup, didn't have to mess with radiators, fairings, front mounts etc. Just subframe

that is great to hear. Would it be safe to assume that it is less labor intensive than the 1125s'?

.....different. I think the throttle bodies/air box was easier to get off and work with on the 1125.
