Anybody have specific dimensions for the oem throttle tube? Diameter? A quick google search revealed no info.

Same as an 1125 I believe. Standard bars should be 7/8"? Also the same as a generic IL4 bike, or just about any other out there on the market.

Ok cool. Thanks for the info. I was hoping the cam on the 1190 would have less travel between closed and wot than the 1125 throttle assembly. For a direct bolt on quick throttle opposed to the Yamaha ones I've seen posted.

I don't know if the travel is the same between them, although I never had an issue with the stock 1125 one.

Be careful with your quick turn choices. The 1190 must be revved not blipped. Too quick a twist on the throttle and you can choke the engine. With the super high compression ratio you DON'T want to do this going down the gears setting up for a turn... HEY DON"T YOU Worry about HOW I KNOW THIS...LOL

The throttle throw actually isn't that bad in my opinion and allows for one to be very precise. With the TC on 3 or less the bike wants to wheelie or spin the rear so easily I can't imagine someone wanting MORE of that or wanting it to happen quicker.

You have my respect Mr. Rick Fears (nothing apparently).

If I read it right he's looking to put a 1190 throttle tube on an 1125. Let us know how it works!
