I was amazed they weren't there with the truck parked in the midway. Sometimes I wonder about their marketing process. I have never seen schedules for dealer visits or events. They just had an event in Milwaukee that I would have attended but only saw the face book pics afterwards There is a such thing as holding your cards to close to the vest. |

Low budget, no $$$, laying off people on the factory assembly line...Let's just hope they are hard at work designing a middleweight bike and figuring out how to bring bikes to the market at a lower price than they currently are. |

laying off people on the factory assembly line... Do you know something the rest of us don't? Let's just hope they are hard at work designing a middleweight bike and figuring out how to bring bikes to the market at a lower price than they currently are. The middle weight and light weight bikes have already been designed by EBR (see below); the question is if we'll see them as EBR or Hero bikes in the US. Middle weight 650cc Hastur: Light weight HX250R:

Dealer I bought my 1190RX here in Indy said they tried to get EBR to come for the motogp, but EBR wasn't really interested. Last year the dealer rented the space to sell EBR swag, and they weren't interested in doing that this year. |

Anyone notice that these two bikes share the same swing arm? I'm not sure why this hasn't moved along. |

EBR had a great presence at Laguna Seca during last month's WSBk races. Even Erik was there chatting it up with the fans. That guy does have an infectiously positive personality. I just wish they would take care of some of the details on their "display" production bikes....like taking out all the slop in the throttles. They ARE trying to sell these bikes to people other than Buell fanatics, right? Whats the first thing someone does when they get to a demo bike? Yep, twist the throttle and first impression last a long time..... |

I don't believe its a budget problem. When you have a huge team out a Laguna, and can't send a single truck down with an EZ-UP and a couple of bikes to Indy? It's disappointing. |

Maybe the Speedway wanted way too much for rent and Laguna Seca didn't? |

"Anyone notice that these two bikes share the same swing arm? I'm not sure why this hasn't moved along." And the same front wheel. The 250 also has a sensor disc that looks like it could be used for antilock braking which would be ideal for a "beginners" bike. G |
