It's interesting how various methods of measure rank markets . . . . While one finds the top states as South Dakota, New Hampshire and Iowa (using a people per bike ratio) another would indicate California, Florida and Pennsylvania based or raw registration numbers. http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/oped/motorcycle-ow nership-figures-united-states-usa/ http://www.statista.com/statistics/191002/number-o f-registered-motorcycles-in-the-us-by-state/ Motorcycle consumers are actually much more difficult to market to and the raw registration numbers begin to fall apart when you realize how many folks own 5 - 10 bikes. Interesting article and I suspect that eventually the story of the C.A.R.B. delay . . . which bears amazing similarities to the 1994 S2 Thunderbolt delay . . . will creep out. This is good news. |

"the C.A.R.B. delay" Does it have anything to do with a bloated and ineffectual government bureaucracy? |

I hope they get a dealer in the sf bay area. In the meantime I'm happy to drive up north for a test ride |
