My true home town, born and raised in this town.

Like most big cities, it has it's good points and bad. Some people put it down...not as big as LA...not as famous as Hollywood...not as fashionable as OC...blah blah blah.

Well here it is, and it ain't goin away. So there!

Last week I got out of the shop with daylight left, so I took advantage.

I have gone over this bridge more times than I can count, and it wasn't until walking under it taking pictures, that I realized it's actually two bridges side by side. From the top side there is a center divider and it looks like one bridge, but from underneath you can see there is nothing connecting the two. Ok, that was my "oh wow" moment for the day.

What are those guys talking about?!? My motor doesn't look anything like this.

Debris from the recent storms can be seen in the rocks that form the jetty.

Here are a few pics from today on the LB side of the jetty

It was a great day to be out riding.

Tim, I'm new to the BadWeb site so I just saw these photos. Definitely some great memories from your area: hanging out on 2nd St Belmont Shores, Shoreline Village, Long Beach Grand Prix back when Michael Andretti & Al Unser, Jr were battling each other for the top spot in CART.

Even my oldest son (now senior in high school) was born in your fair city. But now its been 15 years since I was there.

If you are still in Long Beach, why not go out and shoot some new images. I'd love to see how the place is doing.

Paul
