Stan, Were have you been!!! We miss you at the DCBRAG meetings! I don't know but I can guess, 20? Weld a nut, that's an interesting way to do it. Jose no offense taken, don't worry about it. Unmotivated is a good description of how I feel about the bike. |

wruffus (Bill) -- anyone have a good e-mail address for him that you could send me? I think the hotmail address was returned as undeliverable. Eisanmann, anyway that TIG welder could spark a fire and put that bike out of our misery? Steve(2) |

Hey Roger, how you doing? Hope your recovery has been speedy. Why not give us a quick post and let us know how you're doing. Did anyone hear any recent news on the guy that broke his back? Wonder how he's doing also. -Dave |

Jose, I'll give it a try. Cindys gonna rescan the pics at work this week. She thinks she made a boo-boo scanning them. I have quite a few more to post , maybe next weekend. David I havent seen anything new on the guy that broke his back. Although I'd like to. From Rogers posts it sounds as if his S3 got the worst end of the crash. The Dragon sure takes its toll. Dave...I spoke with Debbie Hammersley last week and she said Allan had the back surgery to stabilize his back...Allan said he was getting a little feeling back but this may just be because the pressure has been relieved somewhat...It still doesn't look too good for Allan but stranger things have happened so all we can do is keep him in our thoughts and hope... Roger...I have your glasses!...Found them in the tank bag of the beemer...Did a thorough search for your wallet but no luck there...I called Mr Curley but he didn't return my call re the wallet mystery...I am positive that it went with you in the ambulance as we all knew you would need your ID, medical ins, etc...Call me at either 314.821.0776 or 636.938.3788...Glad to hear your well on the mend... See Ya! Bob |

Ed, really now? "GOPHER HOLING"? Roger, The more I think about it, I seem to remember putting your wallet into one of your little med bags or shaving kits or something. Allan, Get well soon buddy, we are all rooting for you. Also I got my pics on disc finally from this trip I will try and post any of them that are not incriminating for any of you. ie: hookers, drugs, homo-erotic gesturing, trailer queens. things of that nature, but that doesn't leave many. still thinking about this trip, great meeting all of you and stay/get healthy! |

All, Well I'm back from a week in Cancun ... great place to pick scabs. That is all that is remaining of the road rash. The ribs are still a bit tender if I strain just wrong. Yep, the S3T did get the worst of it ... totaled. I'll be talking to the insurance co this week. I may take it as part of the settlement and do a rebuild in my garage. I've been thinking about a few mods over the 4 years of ownership and a new one after the fall-down ... ABS. Anyone know anything about retrofit of an ABS system? Any opinions on ABS? (stupid of me to ask this crowd if they have an opinion) ERICK |

Erick, retrofit ABS? It would probably be easier just to buy a bike already equiped with it. (BMW and the VFR honda?) |

XB9: I think I recognize that RS1200 in the picture. Did it have about 37,000 miles on it? If so, he's been hanging around since Buell was trying to decide what to call the company. Court |

Court, >I think I recognize that RS1200 in the picture. Did it have about 37,000 miles on it? Believe that's Rich's (aka Buellbomb on SacBORG) RS1200 and I'm thinking the 'Rich' who just checked in with 39,000 miles). could be wrong -- wouldn't be the 1st time. |
