a perfectly brilliant setting for, well, setting. this road, which runs up the hill from Woody to Granite Road above the old outpost of Granite Station, was purposely put here, oh so many years ago, specifically for spanking sportbikes on. we had to play within the rules, however, as the corners are a little gritty from recent winter rains, and we couldn't count on picking a line and not having to change it on account of several packs of sport-bicyclists out for a Sunday cardio, but still, the road was good enough that we had to run it both directions. i am a rock. alternate caption #2: like a rock. alternate caption #3: rock, on. the moral? never take bad humor for granite, less the perpetrator become ever more boulder. (Message edited by jerry_haughton on January 31, 2005) |

took four shots of this little tyke, who had some relationship to the proprietors but never really determined exactly what that relationship was, and this was the least "anxious" looking of the quartet. hmmmm, maybe that's the "full diaper" look... i'm only torquing your inseam just a tiny bit when i say that UniBear, i.e. Glenn, knew about half the people here, and about half of THEM kept calling Glenn "Ed" altho at first Ed, i mean Glenn, had no clue that this "Ed" feller everybody kept referring to were actually HIM! curious. i'll let Gle...Ed...aw schucks, UniBear can tell you all about it. i screwed up the order of these pix a bit when i posted them, as it's actually a left-to-right three-shot series taken at Panorama Heights, just a minute or two from UniBear's beautiful retirement property. (Message edited by jerry_haughton on January 31, 2005) |
