Laurie and I just finished a glorious eight day motorcycle trip that took us to MotoGP at Laguna Seca, Santa Cruz, Yosemite, Mono Hot Springs, and San Luis Obispo. Our XB12XP performed flawlessly and it now lays claim to being the best motorcycle that I've owned. The luggage consisted of tank bag, side bags, tail bag and a Ventura pack strapped to the top of the tail bag. Laurie rode in comfort for the entire trip (or at least claimed she did). How many wives would say yes to motorcycling all over the place and then hiking steep Yosemite trails after camping out at Laguna Seca in a leaky air mattress? I am a lucky man.  Stopping at the reservoir along Highway 152.  This is s good silhouette of the Uly.  Half Dome as inspired by my Impressionist and Minimalist tendencies.  Upper Yosemite Falls. We hiked all the way to the top! The first step up at 11AM. The last thirsty step down at 6:30PM.  Half Dome as seen from the Yosemite Falls trail.  Half Dome at the end of the day.  Life is good.
