There's plenty of great roads on the way, just depends on how long you want to take to get there. Once you get to Virginia you can take 66 to Skyline Drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway to the Deal's Gap area. |

A buddy of mind did the length of the Blue Ridge Parkway riding by himself in two days. He said it was at a comfortable pace and a great time. |

Gaza: My husband and I just got back from a road trip riding from Florida to Arkansas. On our way back we rode the north part of the Natchez Trace Parkway. You could pick it up at it's northern terminus just south-west of Nashville and ride down to Tupelo, MS. You will have to backtrack a little to the north and west to get to Memphis, but The Trace is a beautiful ride and well worth it. Sweepers, 50 MPH speed limit, very little traffic and no lights or stop signs for the whole 250 miles. We stopped once for fuel (my 500 needs gas about every 150 miles) and a cool beverage and made the distance from Tupelo to Brentwood, TN in about 5 hours. The Natchez Trace will continue down to Natchez, MS for another 200 miles, just an FYI. Do a google search on it and you will find lots of info. Sounds like you're gonna have a great trip. Wishing I was back on the road myself. Happy Trails |

If you come into the states a little further east you can ride down through teh Adirondacks and Catskill mmountains. Otherwise there won't be much going in NY the section your coming through. Some good stuff a little to West in the Finger Lakes as well. |
