Hey! Where the heck is Mt.Evans? I have been looking at my maps and can't find it. If all works out schedule wise it's looking like quite a few of us from the Midwest might be able to make it out there. Been itchin for this ever since I got the Buell, last time I rode a bike in the real mountains was on a '82 Honda 750 (not counting the two times I rode my pedal bike over Trailridge pass). Hope to see you-all there! IA Mike |

Here's some info on Mt. Evans. This link is bicycle related, but seems to give a decent overview on the road and accomodations in the area. |

June, anytime. Offering my garage/beds&floor/cooler as a staging area for folks from the east & SE who may be coming across on I-70 or up on I-35. I am at the junction of 35 & 70, 600 miles/12 hours/1 long day ride from the Boulder area. |

This is good......very good. I have, this morning, received info about lodging and accomadations. The details went so far as to provide evening limo service from the mountains into Denver so that the Tri-State Trash can enjoy "adult entertainment". Cut-off is Friday. Dates, place and theme will be chosen. Get your thoughts in. This is exciting. Also . . . I need 3 volunteers to "champion" this thing. I have Aaron confined to his garage to ponder, plan and prepare to plunder on The Salt. I can provide outline and "big picture" but the event needs a leader. Court |

I believe my summer semester runs from June 11th to July 19. I think. Any time before or after would be great, but since I don't have firm dates, I'll make due with what's available Danny 95 S2 |

Court - My vote would be the last week of June thru July 14, then after Aug 11. I can't make a firm commitment on attendance until I see the date. Is there a campground or is this a lodge? IA MIke |

I'm liking the first week in June as well. If we forget about the absolute date for a moment, and just worked out the logistics of which days of the week would be what, how would it look? I'm guessing it would be 2.5-3 days drive from most west coast locations, maybe 4.5-5 days from east coast other than the tip of Florida or Maine. I'm sure you could blast it much faster, but what fun would that be? So would the plan be to make it for like a Thursday-Sunday at the actual Colorado destination? Most folks could fit the whole thing into a two week vacation that way. Of course, the guys that ship bikes in (or that use Aaron's armada of bikes ;-) ) could do it in much less. Memorial day is Monday, 5/28/01, right? So this would be the first weekend in June, Saturday 6/02 thru Sunday 6/10? That sounds good to me. Al |

Let's have the meet on any timeframe NOT including the FIRST weekends of May, August or October which are when the Songdog Campground Rallies occur out California way and I try to get as many Harley & Buell riders to attend as I can. Sparky 96S1, 98S3 |

Hey guys and girls, I haven't been on here in awhile and unfortunately our household is no longer a Buell owner (wife traded in the Blast for a Ducati Monster). However, Mt. Evans is within view of my house in Arvada and I would still like to ride with the local Buellers. If you guys put together an event, please consider our house open to guests for you out-of-towners. We got plenty of room and beer and have thoroughly enjoyed meeting many of you and welcome you to our house!! Buellistically, Will and Jen Arvada, CO wsallender@hotmail.com |

Doesn't the American Thunderbike Club have a gathering thru Rock bog in Colorado each year. Could the two events merge for a huge mid-USA event? just wondering? |
