how ya doin' on this, bro? I'm not.... I have changed my eating habits but racing was a big motivator for me. With it out of the picture..... I just hope not to gain. But the weekly weight in keeps me in check. |

1/27/09 - 215 lbs - 26.9 % body fat 2/1/09 - 213 lbs - 25.9 % body fat 2/8/09 - 210 lbs - 25.4 % body fat 2/15/09 - 210 lbs - 24.7 % body fat 2/23/09 - 208 lbs - 27.1% body fat 3/1/09 - 210 lbs - 29.2% body fat Just as I suspected - I haven't worked out in a week and have spent pretty much every waking hour studying for comps. My lunch yesterday consisted of a bag of chips and some Reese's peanut butter cups in the library, and my dinner was some leftover chinese food and half a pint of Ben & Jerry's when I got home from the library at 2230... Ugh. I gotta get back into the groove. |

I'm on the infamous Fat Ferris E.L.C.* Diet, and while every day is literally and truly warfare when it comes to what I do and do NOT stuff in my piehole, in the long run it's working. Wolf, you started this thread, and you've got a lot of people pointed the right direction weight-wise and health-wise... ...including me. Get it effin' done, dude. 234 this morning. My daughters each got one of those Wii game work out things. It looks interesting and functional. The wife says she wants to get one too. It measures weight, BMI, physical age per tests, etc. Gets them off the couch to play a video game, cool concept. They are so electronically capable though, I can't help but wonder in the back of my mind ,how easily these kind of things could be set up to be spy equipment in peoples homes.(I was born in the cold war era) |

Tomorrow will make 11 months for me on Nutrisystem. As of today, 130 pounds gone. Wow! You must have a room full of those stuffed bears they send you very 10 lbs.! That is really a great achievement. I've been forgetting to weigh-in... 1/20/2009 - 318 3/2/2009 - 320 I can't stand the treadmill/stationary bike, etc. I started doing the couch to 5k program outside along with my weight lifting. I'm hoping to help keep the weight down with that. (Message edited by Thumper74 on March 05, 2009) |

Cool. Just carrying that box in the house is a good work out. Good luck with it, if you follow the plan it will work, see above. Make sure you read the literature that comes with the food, it tells you exactly what to do. I'd also recommend joining the NS website, and visit the forums (esp the Men's room) daily. Lot's of good advice and info. I wouldn't have had the success I've had without that website. |
