Hey Y'all, We are at Hal's today... then going down to Uke's for Battletrax. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who busted their butts to put this thing together. You should have seen the ear to ear grin last night on Erik's face as he presented some of the innovative changes the company has made for the 2004 line. My only question I have left is which Buell am I going to buy next!?!?! Charlotte PS Dennis, it was great to see you... if only for a little while... |

It was great to meet & ride with a lot of you, sorry I didnt personally say goodbye to some of you but I had to duck out of the dinner asap & get my ass to work. Also have to work tonite so obviously not attending the B-trax at Ukes today. Will make it up to Hals in the am tomorrow tho for their B-trax event. Dont want to single anyone out or leave anyone out so I will just say it was great, had a fantastic time meeting & riding with all the out of towners & really hope to do it again. Have a safe trip home & see ya on the net. |

Originally all the profits from the 20th anniversary poster were going to be donated to Team Elves for use as they saw fit. I spoke with Court yesterday & told him of our plans to still do that & he was very gracious & thanked us but then also asked that we instead donate it to perhaps a local charity instead. I spoke with CJ last night & we will be donating all proceeds to the Childrens hospital in Milwaukee. They are fantastic people there & will use the money to buy toys & use it in other ways for the kids who end up there. I have done several benefit runs in the past for them & its a great cause. Looks like right now we will have over $800 to donate...thank you everyone who bought a poster. I will be setting up a ride so we can deliver the check to the folks up there & will take pics & have more info when its over so all of you can see where your donations went. Thanks again to all & especially to Court & Team Elves for being so gracious. |

\ GREAT Time!! Big thanks to all who put this together I was at Hal's late Tues nite and parked rv in lot and slept there. VERY NICE people Thanks to Gary at Hal's. You had to be in the lot at Hal's and see the Buell's roll in it was awesome. Then the guys in the raceshop rolled out their project bike VERY cool! I rode in the back of the group to the factory-what a sight as we went over hills and all you could see is BUELL'S!!! Thanks again to those who put it together and the dinner was very cool and I filled in as the ATC photoman to catch some pics of the evening( Dyna how's the helmet bag fit???)I couldn't get the camera out fast enough for that one. Eric is a very intersting person to listen to and enjoy every chance to get a ear in on his conversations. Was great meeting everyone even though it was short look to next year and maybe the rv can be homebase as the mobile command center???? Ride safe coolice} |

What a week. Oy Vey, I slept in this morning and planned on saying adios to the visiting Buellers at Uke's BattleTrax and Farewell Celebration but most were gone before I got there at noon. Hell, they didn't even stick around for the free brats, sauerkraut and left overs from Thursday nights banquet. Duh... Oh well, they will return like the Swallows to Capistrano. We hope. Going to miss you folks a lot. We made a lot of good friends during the Buell 20th and are looking forward to seeing you all again. The BattleTrax was typical for a midwestern event. Mary Jane tossed Spidey as usual. Good thing he carries a backpack full of spare parts. Local Favorite Shane Kapugia took his class again, as usual. CJ decided to give Blastin' Jerry some competition for a change and started her own race team. She got the Fellow with the Tilley's Sportster to run her Blast and he won both categories. Too bad I didn't get his name, but I am sure CJ will provide us with that info. LOL Other than that, the KTM Locals really kicked ass with their SuperMotards with racing slicks. Wow, they really had that course dialed in and got top time of the day. Don Sieg, Uke's BRAG director and his band provided entertainment throughout the day. Sounded really good until they massacred one of my all time favorites. Oh well, we can get even tomorrow at Hal's BattleTrax with a Polka Band. Ewwww...even I would shine that event. Just kidding Don. So that about wraps it up. Thanks for taking the time to helps celebrate the Buell 20th and hope to see you all again soon. |

Dyna...Per Blastin' Jerry, Saturday's BattleTrax is Set up at 8:00 AM and practice starts at 9:00. I don't know of any other arrangements, however, there should be a good crowd on hand due to the set up for the 100th celebration. |

Dyna, On our way home Weds. night we found Ted and Tim and their wives on Hwy 20. Tim is the guy with the bagger that had the flat tire. They went on and on about what a great guy you were(?). Ride to the edge! Dave |

Yea, he emailed me & told me they got home just fine. We left hals for east troy & they had their tire fixed & up there about 2:30 or so. I had spoken with a couple guys back in service & told them they were guests of ours from out in Iowa & really needed to get back on the road asap. Big thanks to the guys at Hals for getting the bike fixed asap. PS..he said it had a razor blade stuck in the tire! |

I'm home. I had an uneventful ride back to Massachusetts. You guys in Milwaukee better be ready, though; I must have seen 2,000 Harleys heading west today. I can't describe how much fun I had. This is, without a doubt, the high point of this year for me. Lake Bueller, Spiderman, Bad S1, CJM, M2me, Dyna(!) and everyone else who helped - you guys are a real class act. It really was great to meet all the people who were only names on a board before. Now you have faces, and are real. Newfie should get some sort of "Iron Butt" award for riding an S1 that far(a case of Preparation H,maybe?). Bill (Nevco1), thanks for making me an "Honorary Member" of Brew City BRAG; the patch will be a constant reminder of how much I enjoyed myself. Of course, the best reminder is the new ink on my arm. I want to run down the list of names, but it would take too long, and I'd forget somebody - a lot of somebodies! You guys all rock! I didn't meet one person that I didn't enjoy. Buellers really are the best people I know as a group. Thanks again! |
