Now Mike, if you put your wife on the back of the bike with all your luggage, then I would be impressed! And yes, you have to have it standing up on two wheels to win the prize... |

Don't tempt me, I have been known to well exceed the carrying capacity of vehicles before. Someday after the upcoming move I'll have to find the pic of my pickup and trailer taken when I first arrived in Wisconsin. Stakeside trailer, an old flat fender Willys Jeep on it, two bikes at the rear of the trailer, and if it wasn't pointed out to you you could not see the Jeep on the trailer. I could win a barge award, what's the prize besides the satisfaction and embarassment of winning?

There's a Goodwill store on Oklahoma street just a few minutes from Hal's. Hal's also has some Sidewalk Sale stuff where they used to keep their used bikes and I saw some Buell logo'd shirts in there (I think I did anyway). Just take a toothpick and write "winner" in the frosting of some doughnuts on Wednesday morning, I don't think anyone will mind. I mean, remember, this is part of the crew that brought refried beans for Kringles. |

Thanks for the reminder Mike. one big-ass can of refried beans coming up I'm guessing 79 bikes at Hal's at 94 bikes at the factory. Patches If anyone would like to purchase a Brew City BRAG patch, just find me. Cost:$7. I'll be the one in the yellow jacket, yellow helmet with flames, and rinding the "Extremely Nimble and Fast Sunfire Yellow Blast With Flames" (What can I say, there is litte way that someone can use the "I didn't see him" excuse.) Great, anyone see the weather forecast? Now I realize it can change 30 times between now & wednesday. But they are calling for big rain from wed-sat. Never fails that every year the Harley comes we get rain. I guess god & mother nature just like testing everyone. |

Maybe the Buell stuff will be dry as the clouds load up for the 100th. BTW, anybody know if they'll be done using Mooreland for orange barrel storage anytime soon? The way it stands now, you can't make a left into Hal's if coming from the south which sucks because I know of at least two groups heading in that way on Wed. and trying to loop back during heavy morning traffic won't be any fun... |

I'll be there rain or shine!!! Although I'd prefer shine I got stuck in a nice storm last weekend. 2+ hours at a max speed 45mph (in a 65 zone, no less). I had to pull off the road twice because it was raining so damn hard. Oh yeah, it also dropped 25 degrees in the last hour. I hope that was my once yearly sacrifice to the rain gods |

Griz...During the 100th celebration heading north on Moorland from 43 you turn left 1 block before Hal's and come in the back way. Coming south from 94 it is a right just as normal. For the Buell 20th, you should be able to make a left into Hal's in the normal fashion. Kirk only made reference to the alternate route for the 100th when hundreds of HOG's are expected, not a handful of Buells. |
