To any out of towners that are going to hang around Friday night for the Battletrax on Saturday, or any other reason. If you do not have a hotel, you are more than welcome to stay at our home. I am only a few minutes away from Hal's (that's where I'll be Saturday morning) James, You gonna need tires when you get here? I have two spare front tires, the stock Dunlop and the Pirelli-each with about 3,000 miles on them. You are more that welcome to them if you need them. (I'm going to stick with the Avons) Jerry |

Jerry (Blastin), I've got a new (less than 1000 miles) Avon on the back, and a 5000 mile old Avon on the front. I think that I'll be fine, but I might have to take one of those fronts off your hands if the Front doesn't hold up. The rear should go the distance. Thanks for the offer!!! James |

Just wait until you get here, we have three variations of our 1-dollar coin and all are in occaisional circulation, and two of them are approximately the size of a quarter. Oh, and there are currently about 15 different quarters in circulation too. And you _did_ get some 2-dollar bills didn't you? And no, not the 3-dollar bill with Bill clinton's face on it. Okay, right about now I'm thinking someone is going to pay for a new bike just by making Newfie-change.

Newfie...Do the Canadian's still have the bill (I think it is a $50) with the "Polish Firing Squad" on the back? If yes, you need to at least bring a copy of one with you for laughs. |

The colors help us identify the cash when we are obnoxiously drunk on de ole black rum. Most of our new money also has braille markings on it as well. |

Today is the 11th. The one thing I learned while growing up near Seattle is that the weather varies by the moment. The one thing I've learned while living here in Wisconsin is the same regarding the weather, it can vary by the moment, and sometimes 30 miles north or south makes a major difference.

Rain suits are always fashionable biker attire in these parts unless you ride a Harley. Then you just suffer behind the barn door sized wind shield. Best to bring the rain gear as that will force the weather to be beautiful. |

Bill, I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but you can't do that. Trying to use Murphy's laws to your advantage doesn't work. Bringing rain gear to keep it from raining is like washing your car to make it rain. Now packing rain gear will keep it from raining, as long as that was not your intent. But if you pack gear specfically for the purposes of preventing rain, it will definitely rain and quite possibly hail just to show you who's in charge. BTW, I'm an optimist. |
