CJ, Are you getting a K-model? They're nice bikes. A flathead Sportster of sorts.

Sorry, I've been thinking of basket cases lately, like bikes torn apart and stored in washing machine boxes. The K-model I was referring to was the old Sportster predecessor from the 1950's. You wrote "K", I thought "K-model Harley", Bads thought "Beemer". Oh well. I have to go put the second cylinder back on my bike now, had to remove it temporarily for posting in the Thumper section. It's a Groovy Tuesday. Or maybe just a goofy one. MikeJ (waxing nostalgic in the midwest) |

Does anybody know if any of the local dealerships have Buell T-shirts? My wife, who can't make it to the 20th, wants me to bring her back a Buell T-shirt(preferably grey). For that matter, I wouldn't mind getting one or two for myself. |

I just bought one at Hal's !! It was black and grey, not really a t-shirt for a guy though, but cute and you can't find much cute Buell stuff, at least I haven't. Did get a red T-shirt at Uke's, they seem to have a slightly bigger selection. I think there's not as much Buell stuff at the dealers as I'd want, but you can find something. I'd like to go to Suburban and see what they have. CJM |

Suburban Harley has almost nothing for Buell stuff. Although, I did find a classic Buell patch there last time that was kinda hidden on a rack. |

Most of the Buell shirts I see are nothing special. By that I mean a lot of them dont even have the dealers name on them like the Harley T's do. |

A few years ago Uke's had a t-shirt bin to rummage through and I found one I liked with what looks like a tire track s'ing over it, has Buell on the front and a small Uke's logo on back. Hal's has a few, probably as many as any in the area. Hal's Performance Advantage is worth walking back to if your at Hal's, even if you don't find a t-shirt, but I think I saw several there last time I was in there, but mostly of the road racer or drag racer, but that's okay 'cause they go fast. West Bend has a bathroom. Not sure about t-shirts, but they did sponsor a BattleTrax event so they're trying. The Hartford extension of the West Bend store may have a few. I haven't been out to Wisconsin Harley in Oconomowoc for awhile, they're kind of like associated/owned/merged with Hal's but are separate and may have some there. Milwaukee Harley had one or two, maybe more, don't know, don't spend much time there when I'm there. House of Harley on Layton? A couple of the people there are nice to talk to. Sheboygan, apparently they sell hamburgers, never been inside. Sauk Prairie (or is it Sauk City?) had a fair selection when I was there last, but don't know if you'd want to run out past Madison. I've probably forgotten some. I don't buy many t-shirts. Hope this helps. What size do you wear? I can swing by Suburban on the way home and see what they have in stock. |

Court; if you could set aside 2 team elves shirts in size L for me, I'd appreciate it.My all time favorite Buell T-shirt came from Manchester,NH. It was a grey pocket T, had Buell on the pocket, and on the back was a large pegasus with the shop's name. I only got one, and I still wish I'd bought the other.(There were only 2 when I saw them) |
