Brad, You can't pick up a poster from me because I won't see one until I get to Wisconsin for the 20th (unless Chris mails mine before then). The posters are being shipped directly from the printer (in Montana) to Hal's. I did it all over the Internet. Local printers either never returned my calls or they wanted to charge a fortune. It's kind of hard to get 250 posters printed at a decent price. The big printers want to print thousands of pieces at a time. They don't want to bother with 250 pieces. |

Crowdage? At Hal's? On a Wednesday? Apart from the business next door that will be open they regularly handle 200 bike runs out of there on some Sundays. A week before the 100th a lot of their regular cruisers will be resting up from Sturgis and getting ready for the following week. The parking lot and back lots should be plenty roomy. Uh, er, if that's what you're talking about. I'll step back out of the kitchen now, put down the chicken leg, easy, easy, easy now ... "poof" |

crowdage at Hal's. Are you Joking !!!?????? There's no way there is going to be more folks (or even near that number) at Hal's on the 20th than some of the past events (bike shows, open house etc.) they have had !!! I've been to several and there must have been hundreds to a thousand or more people and bikes (am I exaggerating here mikej ??), this ain't no rinky dink dealer !! How big are you expecting the ride on Wednesday to be ?? CJM |

P.S. If Dana called you about crowdage it must have been Uke's he was talking about, Brew City is affiliated with Hal's, not Dana !! I can see them having an issue with crowdage !! CJM |

For big events Hal's spills over to the north neighbor's lots, and up above to the grass/asphalt lot to the south. I don't know what sort of neighborly arrangements they have for the following week. They'll probably have the stage and tents set up in the front parking lot, and according to their newsletter they will have traffic control lanes on Moorland for incomming traffic. Exiting traffic will probably be exited out the back past the PA shop as has been done in the past to limit the holeshots going up the hill on the driveway. Kind of interesting to see some full dresser with two full-sized riders whack their throttle going up that driveway the get their front tire about a foot in the air for their first time ever as they cant over and head towards the grass, wide eyed and smiling from one with usually head smacking from the other. After a few events/episodes like that and they started exiting everyone out the back driveway. |

And if the following is what you think you'll find once you get here, well, you won't be entirely correct. Someone's got to clear the parking lot to make room for the bikes. "> edited by mikej on July 31, 2003 |
