I was born and raised riding the roads of Vermont and Quebec. The only drawback was the 6 month winters we had to endure.

Anyone else share a love for this part of the world?

I moved to FL 20 years ago to escape the cold, but travel back each summer for at least a week of riding.

I was born outside of Sherbrooke, Quebec. moved to New Hampshire when I was 6. Grew up riding the woods of NH, and as I got old enough, started riding the backroads of Vermont also.
One of my favs used to be rt 4 across the center of the state from NH to NY. Getting a bit crowded now, but at least Vermont is still maintaining its small town attitude. Another favorite is the Kangamangus hwy, some spectacular views!
I too moved away to avoid the winters, but return every few years to participate in the Aspencade in NY, ride around Vermont a bit, and then participate in the Laconia motorcycle rally.
All roads lead to heavin in New England!
