Just found this today.... Learning Curves Riding School will be having a track day on Thursday, August 21 at Blackhawk Farms I'm still working on pricing. I couldn't find the price and registration on the CCS website. More info to post after I hear from someone. |

I have never paid more than $125 for a track dat thru learning curves. And remember with a track day thats excatly what you get. There really is no one on one teaching or anything. Its simply get on the track & ride. During a day you will usually get about 5 sessions of 20-25 minutes each. PS Blackhawk was entirely resurfaced for this yr. All old concrete was ripped up, new asphalt laid down. etc. Should be much much better than the potholes & speedbumps we had the last few years. |

The links mention the day as a licensing school, so I think this may not be an "open track day". Probably some classroom sessions to teach new riders the rules of the road as applied in a racing environment, and to give everyone a base starting point, and probably to weed out the usual one or two black flag specials in the groups who have more throttle than either brakes or brains. |

Mike....where are you finding the info stating it's a licensing school? All I can find is the Race/Road clinic listed on Learning Curves website. I've looked everywhere in ccsracing.com and can't find anything about the August 21st date. They have the 8/23-24 races on the schedule. What am I missing? |

My system is about to crash and needs a reboot and the ccsracing site is crashing my browser now so I can't get back in there. I may have been confused by the learning curves site as they have a licensing clinic on the same week at blackhawk as the street riders skills on the date you mentioned. I'll try to recheck after a reboot if I still have time today. Pretty sure the ccs site called it a racing school, but I was probably confused on that as well maybe. |

I finally called Clear Channel Entertainment. Here's the info I got from them.... You need to purchase a $25 Sport Riders license from CCS Racing. Then you can attend any of the open track days for $75. I wish I had more weekdays free! That's a great price for track time. |

I want a Factory Tour! I want to see somebody putting hard bags on the next generation sport tourer.(Ya, right!) I REALLY liked the concept of the S3-T. It just needed a little ironing out. With the Quality level of the XBs as high as it is, an XB12T would be a dream come true for me. I'll sell my car and use the Cyclone as a trade and put in an hour of overtime a day, ... |
