Pennsylvania's only about 4 hours from Hamilton, but once you're in the mountains man, it's a whole world away from the steel mills. Beautiful just beautiful. You gotta get offa that rock a little more often brother. 
Closest I've been to Newfoundland is Sydney, Nova Scotia after a run around Cape Breton Island. Liked it out that way, beautiful shoreline and folks in the coastal towns and villages where friendly.
I agree with you completely. Rugged coastlines are great places to ride. North Shore of Lake Superior, Pacific Coast Highway or the Cabot Trail, there's nothing like miles of tall cliffs and some awesome pounding surf to put you in your place. Almost better than countin stars....
