Lornce, Once in Toronto anything is possible but I will have time constraints (that is to be back onthe island before divorce sets in).
As for wisdom, it really has not hit me yet and I really can't see it happening for a while yet, so Spidey you still safe.

OK,
Here is a rough plan:
July 6-12 I am tied up with the HOG Rally in Nova Scotia, if anyone wants to ride this far east, take in the HOG Rally then you can meet me at North Sydney on Wednesday July 9, 2002 early in the early in the morning to ride the Cabot Trail into Halifax (one of the most scenic rides you will ever encounter or in Halifax later that day. North Sydney is the last place to go before you get the boat to Newfoundland.
July 13, 2002, I intend to drive as far as either Kingston or Ottawa, Ontario. This ride can be completed in approximately 13hrs and is approximately 1300km, if I am not too tired or if darkness doesn't take me I will be heading to Milton, Ontario where I will be staying overnight. Milton is about 45 minutes west of Toronto.
July 14, 2002, Now this is where it gets interesting, I am open to suggestions at this point. I can either meet you Buellers in Toronto (I would think the Harley/Buell Dealer on Front Street in Toronto would be a good place to meet-Lornce if you have any ideas please advise) area and encourage acts of hooliganism or I am going to head to Detroit to Hook up with The Amazing Spiderman so I can participate in the Great Chicken Wing Feast at his favorite joint HOOTERS. According to Mapquest the total distance is 381km and should take about 4hrs(thats being conservative). The other option is for me to head straight to Detroit and hook up with the Buellers there. Stay somewhere in the USA (Spidey I hope you are still offering the floor of the garage) for the night.
July 15, 2002, Ride around for a bit in the USA and possibly start my trek back to Newfoundland. Stay in the Toronto area for the night. If I find some interesting folks I may stick around for a day or so.
July 18, 2002, I must be back at North Sydney, NS for the trip home, its either an 18 hr boat ride and a 1hr bike ride or a 6hr boat ride and 12hr bike ride back to St. John's, Newfoundland from North Sydney.
If anyone has any ideas after July 14 then I am open to pretty well any suggestions. Of course if anyone wants to ride back to Newfoundland and tour this great island then your more than welcome to accompany me on the trip back home. I can guarantee that if you make it here you will want to come back every year. |

If I'm not in a 'salt mine' we could meet on the 14th near Milton.
The Ice House, sort of Southern Ontario's Alice's Restaurant (but without Big Basin and Sierra Pale Ale) is just outside Milton. Would you like a guided tour of the roads following the Niagara Escarpment?
There's actually some nice riding in the area if ya know where ta look....
You'll have decent tires and good leathers, right?

I will have fresh tires and good gear. Actually my aunt lives in Acton and I usually stay there when I go to Ontario. Nice sleepy little town with one hell of a leather store.
