Bad news I might not be able to make it with my bike, I found a leak in my gas tank!!!!  I call the dealer and they said its back ordered with no date in sight  So now I have to call Kawasaki customer service to see what they can do  | ||

Ok everyone...time to get new rubber for the bikes. Mine goes in Saturday for her 10K mile checkup, and new D208's. I must say, that rear 208 we put on last year in Ferris' garage has lasted 6K miles and still has tread left. But, I don't want to be caught needing a tire like last year. Carey, good luck with your bike, hope someone pulls a rabbit out of their hat so you can make it. please keep us posted. good advice on new rubber. the front on the FJR is thin (only on the sides, go figure!), but i think it'll get me thru the weekend. (famous last words, eh Glenn and Scott??? ) CB and Liz, it'll be great to have you here. yes, that IS a banana, and yes, we ARE happy to see you. ps: everyone bring bedrolls or sleeping bags for the 'Dome, looks like we'll have a lot of peeps this year. also, the temps are starting to drop up here in the mountains. nothing too dramatic *yet*, but the temps up in Sequoia/Kings Canyon and on the Western Divide *could* be brisk. (it is much more probable that the daytime temps will be a balmy 70 degrees.) bring gear suitable for cold and rain/snow. you *shouldn't* need it, but we'll be riding many, many miles at elevations over 7000 feet, and it's best to be prepared. | ||

New BT014's installed and freshly scrubbed this past weekend up 245 and around the Scicon and Balch backroads!! Man, everytime I go out in these mountains, I just keep finding more and more roads to shred tires with!! Bruce out............ | ||

Like last year the Marine Corps has thrown a hitch in my gittyup! I now have to drive the Mobile Aircraft Fire Trainer to Miramar on Monday morning... I'm just going to leave after staying the first night at the lodge, Sun morning. At least I won't miss the whole ride!!! Like last year. Looking forward to seeing you all soon!!! | ||
