l to r: our tour guide Kenny Rogers (who, i can tell you from personal experience, is SICK of people telling him they like his music...), the Wizard, Alex, and our two new buddies on the tour, who by the end of the tour had Dave's biz cards in hand, knowing full well where to buy their next Buell. Buells are pulled randomly from the final assembly process and rolled up on a table under a bank of bazillion-watt lights where they are gone over with a critical eye, looking for the slightest cosmetic imperfection. great care is taken while Buells are being made to insure that there are no runs, drips, or errors. this Uly has passed muster with flying colors. (Barricade Orange, in this case. ) (Message edited by jerry_haughton on September 16, 2005) |

we came around a corner and this blast from the past nearly brought a tear to my Buell-loving eyes. (Message edited by jerry_haughton on September 16, 2005) |

these bikes are here because they are honored members of BMC's past, legends in their own right, icons thru and thru, but it's a terrible shame that they sit here in the assembly plant, collecting dust, waiting for time and fate to place them in the position of glory and honor that they deserve. Blake, somewhere down the road i see BADWEB's next major fundraising project... (Message edited by jerry_haughton on September 16, 2005) |

Erik and the FIRST Buell, the mighty RW 750. (why the look on Mr. Buell's face? as we oohed and aahed over the RW, Erik looked at it with a critical eye and said, "I can't believe I rode THIS bike THAT fast!" ) (Message edited by jerry_haughton on September 16, 2005) |
