Fri 9/30 and Sat-Sun-Mon October 1-3, 2005 from Ferrisville (Lake Isabella), California to Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Parks (and several most excellent points in between). gates open at 3 p.m. Friday here at the ThunderDome. as best you can bring a sleeping bag or bedroll for Friday night here at the 'Dome. y'all come. ride to lean, Ferris & Denise  (Message edited by jerry_haughton on April 27, 2005) | ||

I will be there, and I want that little guest room this year! Please place the "do not disturb" sign on the door. That way I can snore and fart all night long and nobody will know...not even me! LOL.  PS, thanks Ferris and Denise for doing this again in '05. It is a fun time for me, and I really enjoy spending it with you'all too. i think this year we need to spend two days up in the parks, i.e. arrive at Montecito mid-Saturday afternoon as in last year, but hang around up there Sunday as well - a ride up to the end of Kings Canyon i'm thinking would be sublime - and spend Sunday night at Montecito, too. whatcha think? | ||

The first Saturday of October is Songdog Rally weekend. That's where Jen & I'll be providing Rev got things cleared with the county for his campground. Try as I might, I just can't get behind a fun loving event like you have successfully planned when a long standing tradition (+20 years for the Songdog) gets forced down the tubes by chicken $hit Santa Barbara county administrators. I'm sorry to go on a rant like this but I'm just trying to raise awareness of what is going on and also state my position. Thanks, Sparky | ||
